Description
Gappify is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the evolution of our cloud infrastructure, automation, and security practices. This role requires deep expertise in DevOps, cloud security, and infrastructure automation. As a senior member of the team, you will drive strategic initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to build a highly scalable, secure, and resilient platform.
What You Will Do:
- Architect, implement, and maintain a scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring zero-downtime deployments and high availability.
- Develop and enforce security best practices, compliance frameworks (SOC 2), and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead efforts in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Champion containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices orchestration.
- Implement and optimize monitoring, logging, and incident response solutions (Opentelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Cloudwatch, Opsgenie etc.).
- Automate security processes, including penetration testing, and threat modeling.
- Drive cost optimization strategies for cloud resources and infrastructure efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security and DevOps best practices into the SDLC.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices and career growth.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging DevOps and cloud security trends to continuously improve the company’s infrastructure.
