Gabletek – Commissioning / Startup Technician Opportunities
Gabletek is currently seeking experienced Commissioning and Startup Technicians for an upcoming project in Calvert, Alabama starting June 3rd. We are looking for multiple resources to support a fast-paced industrial startup environment.
Job Responsibilities
- PLC commissioning and startup support
- VFD (SINAMICS) parameterization and encoder configuration
- Troubleshooting electrical and controls systems
- Safety system validation including E-stops, limit switches, overload protection, and full control/power system testing
- No-load testing and system verification
- Emergency brake programming integrated with PLC and MH Drive
- Verification and testing of control logic per operation philosophy
- Completion of remaining electrical and commissioning points on-site
- Support load testing and startup activities as needed
Requirements
- Experience with industrial commissioning and startup projects
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and commissioning background
- Experience with SINAMICS drives and VFD parameterization preferred
- Ability to work long hours and travel as required
- Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
