Are you a forward-thinking engineer passionate about elevating reliability and asset care to new heights Join us as a Reliability Engineer in the vibrant city of El Dorado, AR, and take a lead role in transforming our operations. As a key liaison between production and maintenance, you will champion Asset Care Excellence (ACE) principles, ensuring optimal equipment performance, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1.
ACE Implementation:

* Apply the principles of Asset Care Excellence (ACE) to all aspects of work, emphasizing safe operation and compliance programs.
* Establish and maintain process-related equipment maintenance systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations that exceed regulatory requirements.

2.
Continuous Improvement:

* Conduct pareto analyses of maintenance costs and repair frequencies, identifying bad actors and implementing measures for improvement or replacement.
* Lead cross-functional teams in activities such as Reliability Centered Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis, and Six Sigma Teams to enhance reliability.

3.
Reporting and Documentation:

* Prepare and submit monthly reports summarizing major maintenance and reliability activities, including ongoing capital projects.
* Lead the capital project input and budgeting process for the assigned area.

4.
Maintenance Operations Leadership:

* Execute maintenance work orders, ensuring quality metrics are met, and drive down emergency work orders and callouts.
* Set weekly/daily maintenance scheduling priorities and assure operators are entering work orders in JDE for non-optimal plant issues.

5.
Root Cause Analysis and Documentation:

* Lead and coordinate Root Cause Analysis investigations for bad actors and significant reliability incidents.
* Manage all areas of mechanical equipment-related maintenance not covered by the Mechanical Integrity program.

6.
Change Management and Coordination:

* Coordinate plant changes, both equipment and facilities, improving plant OEE, yields, equipment reliability, and process quality.
* Drive effective reporting and investigation of accidents and incidents, participating in Root Cause Analyses.

7.
Reliability Strategy Development:

* Develop a reliability strategy based on business needs, focusing on proactive maintenance, Turnaround, and Capital spending on critical equipment.
* Enhance the Preventive Maintenance program, identify critical spare equipment/parts, and develop plans for asset preservation and rationalization projects.

Qualifications:

*
Educational Background:

* Bachelor’s degree or higher from a 4-year ABET accredited engineering program.
* 3-5 years of experience within the Chemical/Process or Petrochemical Industry.

*
Skills and Competencies:

* Theoretical technical knowledge combined with analytical thinking and process experience.
* Solid working relationships with production personnel, with a willingness to teach and mentor.
* Basic knowledge of accounting principles.

Safety and Security Sensitivity:
This position is safety and security sensitive, dealing with hazardous materials and industrial processes. Compliance with security standards under Department of Homeland Security (DHS) CFATS regulation 6CFR Part27 is mandatory.
