Software Engineer - Data Connectors

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join one of our engineering teams in Stockholm.  Our Engineering teams have clear ownership and room to make decisions and priorities for our product. They need great teammates who can help to drive the success even further. This is where we need you!

Our engineering department

We put a strong emphasis on team collaboration, we work in cross-functional teams, where you are not handed requirements, but rather problems to solve. You engage and take responsibility for your part of the product with your peers.

Learning is central to us. We work with small iterations and deploy to production several times a day.

Our tech stack consists of:

• Python
• JavaScript/TypeScript
• React
• Microservice architecture in AWS

What you will do

You will join one of our Data Connectors teams, responsible for retrieving our customers' data from various sources into Funnel, making it available for further analyses and enhancements. We work closely with our customers to understand how we can improve our product.

You will be responsible for everything from implementation, deployment, and monitoring of the code and we expect you to follow engineering best practices.

You will work closely with other adjacent departments such as design and product, as well as our technical support team, where we are responsible for handling technical product support.

You have a strong drive for customer satisfaction, and you want to contribute to the success of your team! You understand how things work together and you can figure out solutions when things get complicated. You are good at solving problems and making sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently, using the proper data structures and algorithms. You approach tasks with pragmatism, favoring incremental progress.

Furthermore, you are comfortable in a pair or mob programming environment where you openly share your knowledge, and mistakes and ask for help.

Experience & Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering
• Experience in Python
• Experience with API integrations
• Cloud infrastructure experience (we use AWS)
• Knowledge in test-driven development
• Hands-on experience in agile teams and ways of working
• Fluent in English.

This role is located in Stockholm. We value in-person collaboration in the office, and as such we work the majority of the time from our offices.
