Engineering Manager, Stockholm

We are looking for an engineering manager with extensive leadership skills to lead some of our engineering teams. We all work from our centrally located office in Stockholm. What you will do

As an engineering manager, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and supporting our engineering teams. It is the teams that make architectural and technical decisions, you will enable them by sharing and discussing the vision, context, and information with the teams. This way, you enable everyone to make good decisions and have the best possible impact.

You will be a part of our engineering leadership team, which consists of four engineering managers, two VPs of engineering, and our CTO. You will also collaborate closely with our Heads of product – we all work together to enable the teams. Your focus will be divided between time with your teams, individuals in 1-1s, collaborating with the engineering leadership team, as well as building relationships with stakeholders and colleagues in other parts of the organization.

• Team Growth – Make sure that your teams are working well. Team health, personal development, and supporting your direct reports, as well as participating in recruitment.

• Culture Building – Maintaining our great culture, and aligning with the broader company values. Together with your colleagues, continuously improve our organization.

• Operational efficiency and performance – Identify and solve inefficiencies and blockers. Enabling and guiding the teams to perform and deliver with pride.

Experience & skills:

• Proven experience managing multiple engineering teams successfully.

• Hands-on experience in agile teams and ways of working (e.g. facilitating workshops, retrospectives, driving iterative product cycles)

• Fluent in English.

This role is located in Stockholm. We value increased in-person collaboration, and as such, we work office-first, with some flexibility.
