About The Role

We're looking for a Technical Services Engineer Practitioner  with experience within Citrix. You will join team of Citrix Engineers in the Hybrid IT.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and monitoring of Virtual Apps and Desktops environments including tasks such as:
  • Administration of Citrix products deployment (both on-premise and cloud)
  • Supporting configuration changes for Citrix Infrastructure
  • Monitoring health, stability and capacity of Citrix farms
  • Maintenance of Windows Server systems hosting multi session environments
  • Supporting build and patching process
  • Software release
  • PVS/MCS image management
  • User profile management
    • ITIL (Incident, Service Request, Change Management, Problem Management) activities – ensuring effective and efficient handling of tasks
    • Development of customers’ environments and service requirements to enable successful delivery of the service
    • Following established procedures, recommending improvements and resolving enquiries, incidents or problems
    • Taking ownership if issues and tasks assigned with little supervision
    • Escalating issues if necessary to deliver the required service levels
    • Acting as an effective and helpful member of the team, demonstrating personal leadership, initiative, drive as well as sharing technical experience and all lessons learned to maintain the continual service improvement

Our requirements:

  • Knowledge of Virtualization Technologies
  • Knowledge of Citrix Virtual Aps and Desktops, Citrix Hypervisor
  • Good Proficiency in Verbal and Written English including Technical Vocabulary
  • Basic Knowledge of Server Operating Systems such as: Windows Server 2008R2/2012R2/2016
  • Excellent communication – ability to communicate clearly with customers, colleagues and managers
  • Excellent problem solving – ability to fix issues, being resourceful, and not giving up easily
  • Drive and determination for technologies and services
  • Initiative to constantly improve solution methods, and solution times
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on business requirements
  • Flexible Team Working – team player, upgrades during OOO
