Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer - Systems to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems that power our organization's critical infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive technical excellence and innovation.

• Lead the architecture and design of complex, scalable systems
• Develop and implement high-performance, reliable, and maintainable software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement system requirements
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and practices
• Participate in capacity planning and performance optimization initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on systems design and architecture
• Advanced knowledge of system architecture and distributed systems
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, or Python
• Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex systems
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools
• Solid understanding of database systems and data modeling
• Proven track record of leading and delivering complex system design projects
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and providing technical leadership
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus
• Deep understanding of scalable and high-performance systems
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies in systems engineering
