The impact you’ll make in the team

With our mission to provide one billion jobs across the globe, we are in need of Full Stack Engineers who’ll be willing to take our company to the next level! As a sneak peak of behind the scenes, you’ll be able to:

• Work on building lives-changing new features that would impact 66 million users
• Build world-class design systems and redefine UX to bring delight to our users across our websites
• Mitigate fraud and other unwanted activity with machine learning and AI
• Acquire users organically by helping improve the site’s SEO
• Solve web-scale distributed system problems and optimize existing stacks
• Migrate legacy code bases to state-of-the-art technologies like Angular

Requirements

• Proficient in a few web development languages such as Javascript, Python, and PHP 
• Experienced with relational databases and SQL, preferably MySQL
• Has a background or interest in web engineering at scale
• Has experience working in an agile team environment, continuously shipping features
• Has some experience working in Linux
• Has a strong sense of ownership and able to self-manage work
• Self-motivated and has a track-record of learning new technologies
• Has strong troubleshooting skills and creative problem-solving ability

You’ll be more successful in the role if you have

• Experience with SOA, microservice and containerisation architecture
• Experience with development of public facing APIs
• Experience with modern Javascript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
• Experience with TypeScript, ES6+
• Experience with cloud computing, preferably AWS
• Strong knowledge of computer networking
• Sound understanding of OWASP and the best web security practices
• A Github page with contributions to open source software
