Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile leader to join our Transformation team as a Principal Director in the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This role presents a unique opportunity for the right candidate to drive the growth and development of our EPMO. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in various initiatives, adapting to the evolving needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Initiatives:

• Define EPMO vision and charter with long term and short term plan, aligning with organization’s vision
• Bring in thought leadership, innovative ideas and industry best practices
• Identify and drive strategic initiatives within the EPMO, focusing on process and systems enhancement and migration activities aligned with organizational changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and implement initiatives in line with the organization's overall strategy.
• Prioritize and take decisions on the initiatives (strategic and ad-hoc) based on business needs

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify automation opportunities using GenAI and other technologies to drive operational and organizational efficiency
• Identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities to streamline operational processes within the EPMO, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Plan and disseminate information related to process improvements, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Create feedback channels with Practice, delivery and ops leaders to drive continuous improvements in operational processes and systems.

Compliance and Governance:

• Provide subject matter expertise in governance processes, setup and drive Operations Reviews to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Conduct periodic reviews on forecasts, allocations, project set-ups, etc.
• Define development and reporting of key performance metrics.
• Define operational guidelines and drive adoption

Professional Services Automation:

• Lead the development of comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for feature development and enhancement in processes related to project operations.
• Actively participate in Technical Evaluation (TE) processes and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Manage migration activities on the Fractal Management System (FMS) with a focus on minimizing disruption and maximizing system effectiveness.
• Collaborate with functional and delivery ops leaders to drive solutions for business problems and get the required buy-in
• Ensure adequate training and communication is provided prior to release of enhancements to the relevant users.

Configuration Management and System Optimization:

• Oversee the clean-up of project information, addressing issues such as incorrect project management assignments and data discrepancies.
• Govern Operations Master maintenance processes to ensure accurate and reliable data for MIS and Access Control.

Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on Project Configuration and Management:

• Resolve issues related to project set-up, revenue adjustments, etc.
• Identify ways to set up unique projects within the existing system.
• Assess the impact of changes in adjoining systems like HRMS, ERP etc.

Knowledge Management:

• Update and enhance relevant process documentation in BPM tool.
• Develop comprehensive training documents to share subject matter expertise with stakeholders, promoting knowledge transfer and skill development.

Special Projects and Other Activities:

• Lead adhoc projects to improve the team and client experience.
• Drive governance through MIS on PowerBI.

Stakeholder Management:

• Establish strong rapport with key Practice delivery and ops leaders, Senior functional leaders, Finance, IT, and Human Capital (HC).
• Effectively communicate with influence and manage stakeholders at all levels.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 18 years of industry experience, preferably in services and/or captive business operations.
• Minimum of 9 years of PMO and/or Governance experience in services and/or captive business operations.
• Proven expertise in Business Requirement Document development, Technical Evaluation, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Strong understanding of organization’s system landscape and inter-dependencies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS applications.

Good to have MIS reporting/Project Management knowledge.
