We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer proficient in TypeScript and Native Browser APIs to join our Web SDK team. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex and media rich web applications that are intuitive, visually appealing, responsive, and performant. You will work closely with other engineers, product managers and designers to build high-quality software that meets our customers' needs.
What you’ll do:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications and systems
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in accordance with industry best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design and QA to deliver high-quality software
- Participate in code and design reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability
- Troubleshoot and debug applications and systems as needed
- Participate in the development of technical specifications and project plans
- Write and maintain developer documentation
- Use best practices through testing and versioning to maintain high quality releases
- Stay up-to-date with new software development technologies and trends
What you’ll have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development
- Strong knowledge of Web Component architecture, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
- Proven experiencing building web applications or products optimised for mobile browsers
- Interest in delivering developer focused products or tooling
- Expert in RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
- Experience with Native Web APIs is a must
- Familiarity with Device Camera and Media Recorder APIs and their cross device support is a plus
- Experience working with Azure Devops or similar CI/CD tools
- Experience working with multiple testing strategies such as unit, component, performance, and end to end testing
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to haves:
- Experience with Stencil.js is a plus
- Experience with DataDog or other monitoring tools
- You have experience building tools used by developers
