We are seeking a highly motivated DevSecOps Engineer to join our global operations team. This role is responsible for supporting critical operational infrastructure and services for both internal and external customers. The successful candidate will help maintain and improve the reliability, security, automation, and scalability of cloud-native platforms and operational tooling.This position will support operational platforms and services including SaaS, Jenkins, GitLab, product release operations, Kubernetes infrastructure, and other cloud-based systems. The role is critical to expanding global follow-the-sun operational coverage and reducing support gaps between India and the United States. The engineer will work closely with Development, Security, Infrastructure, and Support teams to ensure platform stability, security, and operational excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide operational support for cloud-native production environments and SaaS platforms.
- Support Kubernetes-based infrastructure and containerized applications.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and related automation tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, outages, and performance issues.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
- Collaborate with Development and Security teams to implement DevSecOps best practices.
- Monitor system health, performance, logging, and observability platforms.
- Support secure product release processes and operational automation initiatives.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
- Develop scripts and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and operational procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotations and support global follow-the-sun operational coverage.
- Document operational processes, runbooks, and technical procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, CloudOps, SRE, or related operational engineering roles.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes administration, troubleshooting, and deployments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- Strong Linux systems administration skills.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash/Shell scripting.
- Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS, TLS/SSL, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software delivery practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced global operational environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting SaaS platforms in production environments.
- Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio.
- Familiarity with vulnerability management and container security tools.
- Experience with secrets management platforms such as Vault.
- Exposure to SRE concepts and reliability engineering practices.
- Experience working within global support organizations.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC2 or ISO standards.
