Senior Software Developer at Intelex Technologies

Our Developers bring passion, craftsmanship and innovation to the development and delivery of Intelex’s software products, with the objective of delighting our customers and empowering them with industry-leading capabilities and UX. They collaborate with their peers within an agile (Scrum / Kanban) practice. Our team is moving toward a continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) model and DevOps as a culture. We work with a range of web applications technologies, including Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET, SQL, Azure) as well as JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS / Webpack)

• Responsible for design/implementation of the new features/solutions that supports customer use cases in existing/new software products.
• Work in an agile team environment that practices continuous improvement when planning, estimating, and building software.
• Deliver on sprint commitments by working proactively with stakeholders to identify and navigate obstacles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams including Architects, QA, Product Management, and others to delight our clients.
• Mentor their team members on new technologies, architecture, and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement/continuous deployment (Hosting and DevOps) across teams
• Fosters a security first mindset across those teams, leading by example.

• Passion for evangelizing the creation of effective user experiences.

• Experience developing large scale web applications and a thorough understanding of common architecture choices for them.
• Full stack development across different technical stacks proficient in .NET, C#, SQL Server, Azure or equivalent experience.
• Excellent understanding of relational database design including table design and optimization, transactions, stored procedures, and constraints.
• Experienced in software design principles to address and resolve legacy system issues.
• Excellent understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) principles.
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Conduct code review and promote best practices and design principles.
• Self-guided learning of new tools, technologies, and stacks.

• Experience in React, Node, Typescript
• Understanding of NoSQL and unstructured storage technologies like Mongo DB to optimize high-scale applications and the ability to apply them to different parts of a system.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Octopus/Jenkins.

• Five or more years of professional experience in Software Development/Engineering.
• Professional experience within agile development practice.

• Professional experience within a software product or SaaS organization.

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.

• Master’s Degree and/or vendor certifications (such as Microsoft Certified Professional) valued.
