Product Engineer

PRODUCT ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY:   

A product engineer is responsible for product design and changes throughout the entire product life cycle, adjustments to documentation, workflows, and settings.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Implements and coordinates product changes in all our four business units 
• Makes adjustments to documentation, workflows, and settings
• Updates individual product BOMs
• Manages change procedures and all tests related to them
• Prepares product samples for testing in authorized testing laboratories 
• Oversees the maintenance of products within specification
• Taking responsibility of one of our certifications (ATEX, SIL, CE, DNV etc.) 
• Helps in resolving complaints
• Fulfills other instructions of the superior according to the valid employment contract 
• Finalization and maintenance of technical product documentation
• Creation and evaluation of product concepts

REQUIREMENTS:

• University education in the technical field
• Previous product development experience
• Skills in information technology (MS Office, PRO ENG & graphic 3D)
• Systematic and analytical approach
• Customer orientation 
• Continuous improvement, not accepting the status quo
• Overview of production machines (machining, forming, contacting, welding, etc.) and manufacturers
• Experience in managing technical documentation (creation, normatives, archiving, change management, etc.)
• Overview of relevant national and international technical standards
• Experience in ATEX, SIL, CE approvals
• English Language
• At least 3 years of experience in industry, electrical engineering is an advantage

SALARY:

• 2 000 EUR/month
• 15 % ICP bonus. 
•  Basic salary can be higher depending on the experiences of the candidate.
