We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team and drive our engineering operations to new heights.

Job Summary: The Engineering Manager will oversee all engineering activities within the manufacturing plant, ensuring the efficient and effective production of widgets. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes. Will also be responsible for all sustaining engineering activities including VAVE, BOM updates, design for manufacturing, and new program launches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
• Oversee the design, installation, and some maintenance of manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Manage the engineering budget and allocate resources effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and FBS.
• Analyze production data and implement solutions to address any issues or inefficiencies.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep the plant competitive.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proven ability to develop and implement engineering strategies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
• Experience with budget management and resource allocation
