Senior iOS Developer

Location: Burnaby, BC, Canada; Hybrid

Requirements:

• 5+ years of iOS development experience.
• Expert proficiency in both Swift and Objective-C.
• Experience with SwiftUI and the Combine framework
• Solid, hands-on knowledge of networking and security, with a strong understanding of TCP/IP and TLS.
• Strong knowledge of iOS Security APIs.
• Knowledge of the iOS Network Extension framework is a plus.
• Knowledge of MDM systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of performance tools such as Instruments and Power Profiler is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade features for the FortiClient iOS app using Swift and Objective-C.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to network stability, performance, and threading.
• Collaborate with backend teams and integrate FortiClient iOS with other Fortinet solutions such as EMS and FortiGate.
• Mentor junior developers, lead technical design, and perform code reviews.

 

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $122,000 - $150,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
