About the Role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about automation, quality assurance, and cybersecurity. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the robustness of Fortinet’s security products.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Review and analyze system requirements and specifications.
✔ Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
✔ Identify, document, and track bugs and defects, ensuring timely resolution.
✔ Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle.
✔ Troubleshoot and analyze test failures, improving test coverage and stability.
✔ Ensure test coverage across frontend, backend, APIs, and cloud environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

✅ 1+ years of experience in automation testing and/or manual QA OR a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
✅ Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Python).
✅ Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
✅ Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
✅ Ability to debug issues and conduct root cause analysis.
✅ Strong communication and collaboration skills with a problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

➕ Experience in cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
➕ Hands-on experience with frontend and backend test automation.
➕ Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Jira).
➕ Exposure to network security, cybersecurity, or enterprise security solutions.
➕ Experience working in an Agile development environment.
