In this key role, you will manage Systems Engineers assigned to accounts in your assigned region. Create and implement strategic plans focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet products and services. Develop relationships with key buyers and influencers in assigned accounts and leverage these relationships. Coordinate with appropriate internal groups to generate and deliver winning Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI/RFP Responses, and Statements of Work. Negotiate terms of business with clients to achieve win/win results that provide the basis for strong ongoing relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate a team of System Engineers focused on Accounts
- Develop technical account plans to achieve goals and exceed quota responsibility
- Maximize Fortinet opportunity while providing value added solutions to Enterprise customers
- Works closely together with the Systems Engineers and Account Managers to maximize the primary business focus and serves as team leader responsible for the quality and success of technical resources in the Enterprise Accounts
- Develops relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and partners
- Manages effective working relationships with assigned region Account Managers, Technical Sales Engineers, and Consulting Professionals
- Travels within assigned territory
Required Skills
- 5 – 8 year’s experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineering manager
- 5 - 7 year’s experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
- Strong understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP
- Knowledge of the following technologies: Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti-Virus.
- Strong understanding in the following technologies and protocols: RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
- Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An initiative-taking, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in network security industry, MBA preferred.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. On target earnings for this position is expected to be $160,000 - $250,000 per year. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, and this position is also eligible for commissions based on the terms of the Sales Compensation Plan
