This position is based in our Bangalore office.
The Ping Identity Data Platform team is building the next generation of Identity Governance systems powered by AI/ML approaches. The team is rapidly evolving the data platform to address key use cases in cybersecurity, consumer privacy and regulatory compliance. As part of our data platform team, you will be building web applications for the next generation identity platform, taking ideas from concept to reality and working well in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional team in an internationally focused organization.
Full Stack Java Developer
Responsibilities
- Design clean abstractions and API specifications to implement new features
- Design and develop cloud native services including deployment concerns like load balancing, session management, monitoring and metrics, logging and tracing
- Translate software requirements into a data model and write capabilities to mutate and query
- Write efficient unit and integration tests to automate quality and the release pipeline
- Build modular code emphasizing readability, security, and clean dependency management
- Contribute to the design and development of large-scale, robust, and cutting-edge polyglot microservices
- Leverage continuous delivery tools to securely deploy microservices to various environments and ensure SLAs for uptime, latency and throughput across multiple data centers
- Participate in on-call rotation for the Autonomous set of services.
Required Skills
- Looking for 8 plus years of experience as total experience.
- Experience with Java SE/Java EE with solid knowledge of concurrency, collections, streams, networking, JVM tuning and profiling
- Expertise in build and dependency management; specifically Gradle
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge in algorithms and datastructures
- Database modeling especially key-value NoSQL approaches to entity design
- Experience securing microservices communications and deployments in public clouds
- Experience with Test Driven Development covering Unit, Integration and API tests
- Experience developing REST APIs using web application frameworks such as JAX-RS
- Experience with identity lifecycle and identity governance is a plus
- Strong grasp of web security including authentication headers, JWT, scopes and cookies
- Polyglot server skills include NodeJS a big plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
