Senior Automation Engineer (Backend & AI)

Join Eye-NET Mobile, an innovative company developing advanced V2X technologies for the future of intelligent transportation.

 We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to own and evolve our backend automation infrastructure while leading the practical adoption of AI across the engineering organization.

This is primarily a server-side automation role, focused on APIs, cloud services, asynchronous workflows, and distributed microservices. Experience with Web or Mobile automation is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and improve the automation framework and test infrastructure.
• Develop API, integration, regression, contract, negative, and load tests.
• Build automation using Java, TestNG, REST Assured, Gradle, and Allure.
• Investigate issues across microservices, cloud environments, and CI pipelines.
• Improve test stability, execution speed, reporting, and parallel execution.
• Collaborate with Development and Product teams to improve software quality.
• Lead AI adoption within QA, including intelligent test generation, failure analysis, and AI governance.
• Create technical documentation and best practices.

• 5+ years of experience in Automation Engineering, SDET, or Software Development.
• Strong Java development skills.
• Extensive experience with Backend testing and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with TestNG (or similar), REST Assured, Docker, Linux, and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience integrating LLMs or Generative AI into internal or production systems.
• Knowledge of AI evaluation, security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, or GKE.
• Experience with MQTT, TCP, Protobuf, or event-driven architectures.
• Elasticsearch/Kibana, MongoDB, or Spring Boot.
• Performance testing.
• Python or TypeScript.
• Selenium or Appium.
• ISTQB CT-GenAI, CT-AI, or similar certification.
