Sr. Supplier Quality Assurance (Interior-Restraints)

As a Sr. Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer at Ford, you serve as the strategic lead and primary liaison for Interior Systems suppliers. You are accountable for the end-to-end quality lifecycle—from driving flawless execution during new vehicle launches (APQP/PPAP) to ensuring rigorous performance standards in serial production. By proactively mitigating risks and fostering continuous improvement, you ensure that every component meets Ford’s benchmarks for safety, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction.
Provide technical support to aid in improving quality systems and lead all supplier concern resolution
Utilizes Manufacturing Site Assessment to improve supplier quality
Responsible for ongoing part quality & product launch
Lead GPDS (Global Product Development System) Supplier Engagement Process
Ensure PPAP compliance to Ford Specific Guidelines
Drive Supplier continuous improvement and support 6-Sigma and Ford cross-functional matched pair initiatives
Advanced Product Quality Planning to ensure flawless launch at each build milestone
