Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - FCSD

Ford Customer Service Division, within Ford, is committed to a world-class user and dealer experience. The Extended Service Business department applications:
• Allow dealers to sell extended warranties for Ford vehicles globally
• Provide an avenue for dealers to communicate with Ford regarding potential approval coverage
• Create new and exciting products to respond to market demand

The role is a software engineer on a large global team (10+ software engineers). We leverage Google Cloud Platform, modern IDEs, a current cloud native tech stack, GenAI tools to create code, advanced QoS metrics and DevSecOps practices, and lots of opportunity for growth and self-improvement learning from other senior engineers on the team. 

Ford has a number of prior approval systems today - we're looking to combine many of them into one modern platform with microfrontend design to differentiate business types. The users of the system vary from dealers to assessing agents to internal warranty administrators.

Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD Tech) - Protect+ Approval full-stack software engineer. The candidate will work on Ford's Prior Approval platform (dealers confirm warranty coverage before they begin repairs at the dealership. This platform primarily serves Extended Service Business applications, a multi-billion dollar profit center within Ford that sells and services extended warranties for Ford and competitive make vehicles - but we're extending it to other prior approval types as well with modular and extensible design.
