As part of our Quality team, good is never good enough. Ford Quality drives the continuous improvement efforts that enable Ford to deliver the highest quality products and services.

In this individual contributor role, you will work within Ford's Powertrain Engineering organization as a hands-on quality engineer. You will work closely with Product Development, Manufacturing and Service teams to help make sure our V6 and V8 engine and exhaust systems are designed robustly. You will check the data and evidence behind engineering sign-offs, analyze failures, and help teams close gaps. You will use Ford's Global Product Development System and Quality Operating System to support successful New Model Launches, and you will contribute to reliability targets and quality standards for future programs.

We achieve this through operational excellence and global processes and tools, such as Global Product Development System, Quality Operating System, New Model Launch, working with integrated teams in Manufacturing, Product Development, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales and Service, etc.Join Ford's Powertrain Quality team as a PT Forward Model Quality Engineer. You will help make sure V6 and V8 engine and exhaust systems are robustly designed, tested and launched. You will check test evidence, perform Change Point Analysis, support root-cause problem solving, and contribute to reliability targets for future programs.
