Ford Racing Thermal Systems Engineer
Location: Allen Park, MI, United States
This role involves extensive cross-functional collaboration, target setting, modeling, validation testing, and risk management to ensure that Ford Racing production vehicles meet or exceed performance targets while adhering to program milestones. The thermal systems engineer will also be responsible for identifying and resolving trade-offs between competing attributes, developing roadmaps for improvement, and communicating attribute status to stakeholders. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams (Powertrain, Aerodynamics, Studio, Body Engineering, CAD/CAE resources and motorsport) to architect thermal solutions that meet aggressive performance targets.
Lead benchmarking, modeling, target setting, development, validation testing, and final signoff execution of thermal systems for production cars and trucks at Ford Racing. You’ll work with a variety of cross functional groups to ensure our performance products deliver maximum power, repeatable performance, and durability under the most demanding conditions on and off road.There are more than 50,000 engineering jobs:
