✅ In this role, you will:

• You’ll dive into data collecting and cleaning datasets from all over—think user behavior, transactions, and market trends—to find the "why" behind the numbers.
• You won’t just theorize; you’ll develop and launch the machine learning models that power our personalized recommendations and search features.
• You’ll collaborate across the map with our Product and Tech teams to figure out what our users actually need and how we can build it together.
• You will lead the way, from the first spark of an idea through data processing (ETL) and deployment.
• You'll have the space to research and prototype new ML solutions that haven't been thought of yet. We want you to stay curious.

✅ For this job, you must:

• A degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Math, Stats, Physics) or equivalent practical experience in data science.
• Proficiency in Python and the ability to write clean, maintainable code for ML applications.
• A proven track record of building and deploying data products that solve business challenges in a production environment.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience handling large datasets (knowledge of libraries like Pandas or Scikit-learn is highly valued).
• A desire to learn new technologies and an ability to adapt your technical approach to the problem at hand.
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals, specifically as they apply to personalization or recommender systems (e.g., collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, or deep learning for embeddings).
• Experience working with Search, recommendations & Ranking models in production environments

🚀 What Would Be A Plus:

• Relevant industry experience: If you’ve worked in eCommerce, Marketplaces, or at a high-growth tech company before, you’ll hit the ground running.
• Domain expertise: Experience in Logistics, Trust & Safety, or Customer Service is a huge bonus.
• Cloud & MLOps savvy: If you’re comfortable in the AWS ecosystem (SageMaker, Redshift, S3) or have experimented with tools like MLFlow, Kubeflow, or Vertex AI, we’d love to hear about it.
