Overview 

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with experience in building scalable, secure, and performant web services who is passionate about technology, is capable of breaking down complex problems, and has a strong will to get things done.

You will be part of the team working closely with product and various functions in the company to rapidly iterate on our product and find the best solutions.

What you'll do

• Be a part of the vertical team of highly talented developers in a CI/CD environment using cutting edge technologies.
• Deliver high-quality code, using best practices, that can scale and adapt to growing business needs.
• Own your domain, troubleshoot, monitor and solve issues (you build it, you own it).
• Lead design and implementation of the complex systems.
• Constantly learn new technologies and methods and empower other team members.
• Contribute to the back-end guild by working on our cross platform infra projects and mentor others.
• Mentor other team members to elevate your team’s skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience in at least one of the following server-side programming languages: Node, Java, Python, Kotlin, .net or similar.
• Experience creating backend systems that scale by leveraging SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Comfortable building software both directly and through AI-assisted development workflows using coding agents and agentic tooling.
• Ability to guide, orchestrate, and supervise agentic coders across large or complex tasks while maintaining architectural clarity, quality, and reliability.
• Experience with GraphQL - advantage
• Experience Typescript and nodejs - advantage
• Experience building natively on the cloud - using serverless technologies where relevant.
