Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Technical Lead with 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 2 years of technical leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full stack development and a passion for leading engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions. As a Tech Lead, you will drive project execution, make technical decisions, and mentor developers while collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure delivery success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable software systems across backend, frontend, and integration layers.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and align solutions with business goals.
- Guide the team in implementing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
- Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technology selection to ensure quality and consistency.
- Oversee and contribute to sprint planning, estimations, task breakdown, and delivery timelines.
- Mentor and support junior engineers through code walkthroughs, technical guidance, and career development.
- Troubleshoot critical production issues and provide technical leadership during incident resolution.
- Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and UI/UX teams to ensure seamless delivery from development to deployment.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the engineering team.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in full stack development using modern backend languages (e.g., Node.js, Java, Python, .NET) and frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, system integration, and design patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git), and DevOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development environments.
- Experience with testing frameworks and code quality tools.
- Working knowledge of performance tuning, monitoring, and debugging complex systems.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior engineering role.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for learning and mentoring.
- Ability to drive clarity in ambiguity and make sound decisions under pressure.
