Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust backend and/or frontend components for cloud-native and enterprise SaaS applications.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow engineers to convert business needs into functional code and maintainable solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code, while adhering to modern development standards and team conventions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews.
- Integrate APIs, third-party services, and data models into seamless end-to-end workflows.
- Troubleshoot application bugs, performance issues, and production incidents proactively.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and cloud-based infrastructure tasks in collaboration with DevOps.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and team knowledge.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for their effective adoption in real-world projects.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Java, SpringBoot).
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Flutter, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps and practices like CI/CD, Docker, and cloud deployment.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with Git-based workflows and version control systems.
- Understanding of containerization (Docker), cloud deployment basics (AWS/Azure/GCP), and CI/CD processes.
- Experience in writing unit and integration tests, with frameworks like Jest, Mocha, JUnit, or PyTest.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies, Scrum processes, and DevOps practices.
Must Have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development, including both frontend and backend exposure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to delivery.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for technology, learning, and continuous improvement.
