Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Backend Oriented)

As a Full Stack Engineer on the Fiverr Pro Activation team, you'll be responsible for implementing core features, building infrastructure, and finding innovative solutions to help Fiverr buyers post jobs, connect with the right talent, and close deals. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies, including Kotlin, Node.JS, Golang, Python, React, Kafka, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, AWS, and more. We're looking for a top-tier engineer ready to level their skills in an exciting and fast-paced environment.

• Develop features and products that are visible to all Fiverr customers.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-traffic features, focusing on scalability and performance.
• Build infrastructure to enhance your work, such as packages, modules, services, APIs, data pipelines, and reusable components.
• Collaborate closely with a product manager and a team of talented engineers.
• Take ownership of your team's technical domain, including refactors and modernization projects, from design to production.
• Run technical design, implementation, and deployment end to end.

What are the qualifications?

• At least 5 years of experience in web development and design
• BSc. in CS, engineering, or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in architecture and design for high-scale web applications, controlling the common system design patterns.
• 3+ years of end-to-end  web development experience with the following tech stack:
• Kotlin and/or Node.JS programming experience
• Javascript/Typescript and React framework
• Deep understanding of Computer Science principles and  strong analytical skills

Advantages:

• Development experience in high-scale B2C systems 
• Experience with browser APIs & front end performance optimizations
• Experience with using AI tools for development as Co-pillot and Cursor
