We are actively seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Block/File Storage) to join our growing Cloud Operations team. The ideal candidate for this role will have a deep understanding of systems architecture and design, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, deploying and configuring block storage (3PAR storage, Pure Storage Flash Arrays), storage networking (Cisco MDS, UCS FI) and secure file storage (NetApp, Pure FlashBlade) technologies.
• Build, manage and support – highly available, secure and scalable – production and lab infrastructure (compute and storage) in company’s global data centers and public clouds.
• Monitor production and lab environments, troubleshoot alerts & incidents, detect and fix infrastructure problems.
• Overseeing and optimizing storage performance, capacity, and scalability.
• Research new compute, virtualization and storage technologies and make recommendations to improve availability, reliability and performance of these systems supporting company’s external facing applications.
• Automate/script daily operational support tasks.
• Create/maintain documentation of the infrastructure and configurations (architecture diagrams, procedures, etc.) and provide training to relevant staff (within and outside the immediate team).
• Planning and managing infrastructure changes to accommodate storage growth, cost management, and support needs and wiling to perform maintenance after hours.
• Being ready to participate in an on-call rotation to support 24/7 operations.

Requirements:

• 6+ years building and managing infrastructure systems (storage and storage networking, compute and virtualization).
• Solid experience deploying and configuring secure block storage solutions using 3par/Pure Flash Arrays over Fabric channel using Cisco MDS & Cisco FI stacks.
• Solid experience deploying and configuring secure file & object storage solutions (NetApp, FlashBlade).

• Strong understanding of data storage concepts, protocols, and architectures.

• Strong experience supporting mission critical 24x7 customer facing production environments.
• Strong experience in deploying and managing multiple hypervisor solutions (vSphere/KVM) products.
• Hands-on experience in designing, deploying and managing Cisco UCS infrastructure is a plus
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to work independently.
• Relevant certifications in storage technologies, virtualization, or cloud computing are a plus.

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the storage ecosystem and demonstrate the ability to adapt and innovate within the dynamic storage technology landscape.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong experience of block storage (3PAR/Pure FlashArray) environments including design, implementation, and administration.
• Solid experience of secure NAS (NetApp/Pure FlashBlade) environments including design, implementation, and administration.
• Strong experience in scripting/automation using Python/PowerShell/Shell.
• Strong understanding of cloud (AWS, GCP) infrastructure highly desired.

• Storage automation experience using Ansible and Python, enabling the automation of storage management and configuration tasks highly desired.

• Experience with automated deployment and configuration tools like Ansible/Puppet is a huge plus.
