Technology Internship Program - Data Engineering

What does a successful Technology Intern - Data Engineering do?  

We are looking for a proactive intern to join our team! The Data Engineering and Technical Business Analysis track within the Technology Internship Program will give you the opportunity to analyze data and process supporting data center operations to create new processes, ensure data integrity and process efficiencies. Current process support activities around installation and removal of IT hardware processes, data base data quality and integrations, tool integrations.

What you will do: 

• Evaluate existing DB Data Fields for known data quality issues in order to create corrective action plans along with assisting in the implementation of the plans .
• Work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
• Evaluate existing process data to identify coverage and efficiency gaps and assist with creating and implementing corrective action plans .
• Assist in the managing, tracking and reporting of data integrity projects.

What you will need to have: 

• Pursuing a degree in a bachelor's program with a Computer Science, Data Engineering, Project Management major
• You must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
• Expected graduation between December 2025 and June 2027
• 3.0+ GPA 

What would be great to have:  

• Familiarity with Python; Excel; PowerBi; SQL
• Experience in Excel and PowerPoint, and have a technical aptitude to learn new applications quickly

Salary Range:

These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
