Specialist, Software Development Engineering(UI Developer)

What does a Specialist, Technical User Experience Design do at Fiserv?

As a UI Developer you will be contributing to the design and development of user interfaces for our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually stunning and intuitive user interfaces while also ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and software engineers to translate user requirements and design concepts into interactive prototypes and production-ready interfaces.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly web and mobile applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Optimize application performance by implementing best practices in front-end development, including code optimization, image compression, and browser caching.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from users to continuously improve the user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development and user interface design.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Provide T3 support as needed for any production issues.

What You Will Need to Have:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a software developer with minimum + years in UI development.
• Strong knowledge of UI technology REACT and Type script.
• Proven experience as a UI Developer or Front-end Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience using modern frameworks and libraries.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

What Would Be Great to Have:

• Hands on experience in Java Spring boot or ASP.NET MVC
• Good understanding of SQL Server or any other RDBMS
• Experience with mobile app development and responsive design techniques.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Selenium).
