Specialist, Software Development – .Net

What does a .Net Developer do at Fiserv?

As an experienced member of our Payment Exchange Development Team, you will own Requirement Analysis, Technical Design and Development of our Product.

What You Will Do:

• Your Primary responsibility would be to independently develop or code for the assignments and maintain highest degree of quality for all deliverables.
• Provide estimations for analysis, design, development, and unit testing of application functionality for the assignment.
• Requirement Understanding through difference source of information/documents available with the team.
• Assist Architect(s) in designing activities and estimation of the work required.
• Learning the best practices and the methodology used in the program and adhere to the standards.
• Provide T3 support as and when necessary for production issues. Analyze production issues and provide short-term and long-term fix and help the client support team in the whole process.
• Mentor/train existing and new team members.
• Identify and collaborate with all necessary stakeholders to reach agreement in accordance with defined project goals with little to no assistance.
• Track progress against assigned tasks, report status, and proactively identify issues and report to the Product Owners, Architects and Management team.
• Work successfully in a team environment and demonstrate a willingness to help team members in achieving their project goals if required.
• Ownership and accountability for delivering assigned tasks and deliverables within the established schedule.

  What You Will Need to Have:

• Minimum of 6+ years of software development experience.
• Technical Skillset required –
  • Strong Knowledge on ASP.NET Core, ASP.Net MVC 5 and SQL Server, WCF & REST APIs
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server
  • Strong knowledge of UI Technology like REACT, Angular
  • Strong knowledge of Agile processes & tools associated with it, such as – JIRA, Git hub, Jenkins.
  • Strong knowledge of security scans such as FOP & Sonatype, WebInspect.
  • Need to have good debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Should have good understanding of Framework and Design Patterns and able to understand complex Architectural aspects.
  • Experience in integrating to third party applications.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have an experience in retail banking domain.

What Would Be Great to Have:

• Experience on Microservices, Docker and Kubernetes
• Handson experience on CI\CD tools like Jenkins/Harness
• Knowledge of tools like Talend/SSIExperience on Java Spring boot
