Software Development Engineer

What does a successful Software Development Engineer do at Fiserv?

You will be part of team of dynamic professionals working on a high-profile product development assignment. This role involves the most advance concepts of software development for open banking and microservices. Your actions will inspire others to break the walls and go beyond the boundaries.

What you will do:

• Build new features, contribute to architecting solutions for new features, and ensure all code delivered to production is stable and well-tested.
• Push the envelope on modernizing our stack, from code to infrastructure.
• Test activities for the features being developed by the team.

What you will need to have:

• 3+ years of software development experience programming in Java or a similar backend programming language.
• 3+ years of experience building out microservices
• 1+ year(s) of experience with cloud infrastructure
• 2+ years of experience with DevOps (e.g. CI / CD, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

What would be great to have:

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Experience building out microservices in Spring Boot
