Software Architecture - Lead

About your role:
As a Software Architecture - Lead, you will play an integral role in shaping and executing software architecture strategies that align with Fiserv’s business goals. Your leadership will drive technological innovation and ensure the scalability, security, and robustness of our software systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement software architecture solutions that meet both current and future needs.

What you'll do:

• Lead the development and implementation of software architecture strategies and frameworks.

• Ensure alignment between business objectives and software architecture.

• Oversee technology integration efforts and provide strategic guidance.

• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance business performance.

• Develop and maintain software architectural models, blueprints, and best practices documentation.

• Mentor and guide a team of architects and technical staff in software architecture best practices.

Experience you'll need to have:

• 4+ years of experience in software architecture

• 2+ years of experience in software solution design

• 2+ years of experience with development and integration of software solutions using languages such as Java, C#, or Python

• 2+ years of experience designing and implementing microservices architecture

• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

• 2+ years of experience leading teams

• 4+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience in the financial services industry
