What does a successful .Net Engineers do at Fiserv:

We are seeking skilled C# .NET engineers to join our dynamic application support team. This is non-development role and ideal candidate should have good experience in analyzing and troubleshooting robust and scalable windows applications using the .NET framework along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

What you will do:

• Maintenance and Support: Maintain existing software systems by identifying and software defects and analyzing client tickets. Windows software applications using .NET framework (C#, .NET, Angular 2+, REST, Windows Forms). Must have good understanding on application logging, event logs, traces etc.
• Database Management: Develop/write SQL queries, review stored procedures, and database structures. Experience with Oracle database is essential.
• Integration: understanding on Integrated software solutions by analyzing and designing system requirements, standards, and specifications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

What you will need to have:

• Proficiency in C#, .NET, Angular 2+, REST, Window Forms , WPF and WCF.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Angular/React.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database and database concepts.
• Proficiency with RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Version Control Systems such as TFS, Git.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Must have good understanding on popular application logging ( SVC logs, log4net), event logs, traces etc.

• Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience within the banking or financial services domain is preferred.
