What does a successful Data Scientist do at Fiserv?

You will perform various functions requiring analytical and technical skills necessary to innovate, build, and maintain well-managed data solutions and capabilities to solve complex data and business problems. This position report directly to the Senior Director of Cybersecurity Data Intelligence

What you will do:

• Perform analysis of issues that arise in automated jobs
• Monitor and troubleshoot the data pipeline and provide analysis of data discrepancies
• Automate processes (job auto restarts, automatic ticket creation, etc.) to streamline tasks and response as needed
• Develop automated A-B data testing and validation processes
• Develop advanced risk calculators and models for entity (people, endpoint, application) risk-based analysis
• Implement and maintain analytics workbench to create a development space in our ecosystem to ensure collaboration with fellow analysts

What you will need to have:

• 7+ years’ experience with data science and analysis
• 5+ years’ experience working with big data, data warehousing technologies and DataOps
• 5+ years’ experience with analytics platforms. R, Python, JAVA, and Excel
• 2+ years’ experience with BI platforms. Power BI, Looker, tableau, or similar platforms
• 2+ years’ experience understanding business requirements, translating them in data requirements, analyzing and designing data processes and assisting in building solutions to support those requirements.
• 2+ years’ experience in SQL programming with the ability to perform complex queries against relational databases in an efficient manner
• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

What would be great to have:

• 3+ years’ experience with ETL/ELT platforms
• 2+ years’ experience with asset management platforms. ServiceNow, Axonius, Nautobot
• 1+ years’ experience with Splunk and SPL queries
• 1+ years’ experience with Cybersecurity focused tools in an enterprise class environment
