Job Description: The Financial Intelligence team is focused on developing a comprehensive Financial Intelligence platform that integrates key functionalities such as KYC, AML, sanctions, and fraud monitoring. This platform aims to utilize FIS's extensive data resources to deliver robust risk monitoring and compliance solutions for financial institutions and embedded finance partners. Our objective is to support a significant volume of global transactions and manage the digital financial identities of a large portion of the world's eligible population.

We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team and contribute to the creation of this innovative financial technology platform. What You Will Be Doing:

• Develop and maintain a unified Financial Intelligence platform integrating KYC, AML, sanctions, and fraud monitoring capabilities.
• Leverage FIS's extensive data assets to provide comprehensive risk monitoring and compliance solutions.
• Design and implement scalable microservices and distributed systems.
• Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications.
• Code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications.
• Maintain, test, and integrate application components with other related software applications.
• Independently design solutions and work backwards from customer requirements.
• Drive operational excellence and engineering excellence.
• Tackle complex problem statements in the financial intelligence domain, such as real-time fraud detection, predictive analytics for financial trends, and scalable transaction processing systems.

What You Bring:

• Strong product development experience.
• Hands-on experience in Windows batch and UNIX shell scripting.
• Proficiency with Bitbucket, UNIX/Linux environments.
• Experience with Jenkins and Harness.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• Strong coding skills and ability to write best-in-class code.
• Ability to work independently and design robust solutions.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent education/experience in a computer science field.

Added Bonus if You Have:

• Knowledge of financial products and services.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
• Proficiency in C++ (desirable but not mandatory).
