Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer Seniors in Jacksonville, FL to provide application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project. Develop program logic for new applications or analyze and modify logic in existing applications. Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software applications. Maintain, test, and integrate application components. Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented. Demonstrate an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry. Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product designs. Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation. Suggest technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems. Complete project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations. Conduct planning, analysis and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks. Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. Build recommendations. Provide leadership and guidance to other technical professionals.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering   or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: implementing Agile methodology to work on sprint for Daily StandUps; grooming stories

during iteration planning; working with Agile tools including Jira and Rally; and utilizing tools including Core Java, SQL, WebServices (JAX-WS),REST, SOAP, JSON, Spring, SpringMVC, GIT, BitBucket, Maven, Gradle, Junits, Tomcat Servers, Jenkins, and UNIX. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
