    About the team:

    The Margin Team is acting as a Global Team responsible of major clearing house margin methodologies replication. The team is transverse made up of people working on different FIS cleared derivatives Backoffice systems and real-time margining applications (GMI, UBIX, FIS CD Backoffice, FIS CD Margin Advisor). Margin development teams are spread through different FIS locations. This position is within the Margin team in Tunisia. You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications in the financial industries.

    What you will be doing:

    • Design and develop new margin algorithm

    • Design and develop core features of FIS CD Margin Advisor web application and Margin Engine RESTful APIs

    • Design and develop the margin integration piece in UBIX Backoffice

    • Ensure proper product quality by providing adequate unit tests, performance benchmarking, documentation, and training material for the developed feature

    • Collaborate with developers, quality assurance analysts and business stakeholders to ensure systems integrity

    • Provide production support

    • Ensure software maintenance

    What you bring

    • Computer science engineering degree

    • Excellent knowledge of Java programming language

    • Familiarity with fundamental front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript) and framework (Angular)

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with a solution-oriented mindset

    • Practice good coding techniques (reusability of code, code optimized for performance, etc.)

    • Attention to details and creative mindset

    • Positive attitude, patience, communication and listening skills

    • Good verbal and written English

    Added bonus if you have:

    • Proven working experience in Java and Angular development

    • Basic understanding of financial products
