About the team

We are a Worldpay Development team and we like to code. Our DevTeam is very engaged and communicative. Our focus is to deliver complete application, running in production without defects. We also like having fun in things we do and work together, supporting each other whenever we can.

What you will be doing:

Creating and enhancing new functionalities in the existing platform using Free Pascal (Lazarus and VSCode), shell script, Perl and Java with PostgreSQL database. Running tests and solving issues.

We work with lean/agile development methods and practices. (SAFe – Scale Agile Framework Enterprise).

Responsibilities of the role: 

  • Programming.

  • Unit and Integrated Tests execution with local and external systems

  • Participating in solution discussions with the team

  • Participating in Agile events

  • Interacting with other areas

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in a similar role, preferably in the payment industry

  • Strong understanding of the global payments landscape.

  • Previous experience working as a Senior Developer.

  • Experience with programming languages: Free Pascal, Java, Perl and/or similar.

  • Experience within an Agile development environment

  • Advanced English for technical documentation analysis and key users’ interaction

  • Proactively identify improvements and enhancements to working practices

  • Be a platform owner and keeping up to date with industry trends and development technologies

  • Work closely with the Architecture lead to enhance the platform
