About the role:

  • Writing up test cases and executing them too. Understanding requirements, bug fixes
  • Manual testing for this project, aptitude to work on automating the test cases.
  • Working on Mutual core application which processes all financial conditions for mutual fund client

Global Transfer Agency Services is a group of highly talented and motivated individuals who strive for providing best products for Mutual Fund Transfer Agents. Team at Pune and Hyderabad location is focused working on US, Canada and International TA systems.

What you will be doing 

This position is for Senior Lead Engineer – Testing for Global Transfer Agency Services team. You would be working on complex financial product development in Mutual Fund Transfer Agency. You would be required to do communication with business stake holders, technical / product engineering teams, and senior management. You would be working in highly quality & client focused environment.

  • Work with Product Owners / BAs / Scrum Master to understand business requirements and assignments.
  • Collaborate well with stake holders and other team members.
  • Analyze functional requirements and work on test specifications as per FIS guidelines.
  • Develop, maintain, and upgrade manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
  • Execute functional as well as regression tests.
  • Work on automation project with the team whenever needed.
  • Provide support during critical business months.

What you need: 

  • Year of Experience: 6 to 8 years
  • Strong domain knowledge in Capital Markets.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in manual testing (sanity, functional, regression)
  • Design & development of Test Scenarios, Test cases, Test data etc.
  • Hands-on work experience on tools like Quality center, Zephyr, Test-Link, JIRA , SQL , Web-Services, Postman etc.
  • Hands on experience on Unix commands, shell scripting is an added advantage.
  • Ability to understand complex functional requirements and design test cases.
  • Experience in using Agile / Lean practices and methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, result driven approach and be able to work with business side stakeholders.
  • Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts.
