About the role:.

• Designing and driving deployment strategy to Production and for overall products
• Exploring better tools for monitoring/maintenance of the cloud infrastructure
• Suggesting tools/strategy to help reduce cost of the overall cloud usage
• Streamline pipelines for quick and efficient build and deployment
• Applying best practices of CI/CD while using different tools
• Coaching and mentoring team members to inculcate industry best practices

About the team: 

We are the FIS TRAX team, and we build software which can be integrated with bank specific applications, as well as multi-bank standards, such as SWIFTNet, FTP/SFTP and local protocols such as EBICS in an entirely secure way, eliminating the need for multiple e-banking solutions and thereby increasing STP. It offers the ability to handle a wide range of payment formats through a set of readily available libraries and adjusts for them both quickly and accurately. It is a true corporate transaction banking solution, including best practices workflows for payments, direct debits, account statements, intraday statements, and miscellaneous financial messages.

What you will be doing:

• Designing solutions that cater to product requirements of deployment in public clouds
• Solving complex product integration requirement with modern CI/CD tools
• Providing overall roadmap for CI/CD considering various needs of production deployments
• Exploring industry standard cloud tools and utilizing it based on the needs
• Writing reusable library in Groovy for pipelines
• Effective code reviews of different components
• Managing cloud infra using Terraform
• Managing upgrade of different CI/CD tools
• Apply best practices while implementation or modification in any tool
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Supporting existing pipeline and apply changes based on development team needs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Should have overall experience between 12+ years of IT experience majorly in DevOps stream
• Experience in public cloud deployments
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes objects and API
• Hands on experience in shell scripting & Groovy
• Knowledge of programming language like Python/Java
• Software product development/deployment experience 
• Hands on experience in Helm charts
• Working experience in AWS/Azure cloud
• Good knowledge of Jenkins and other CI/CD tools
• Hands on experience of Infrastructure as a Code tools like Terraform
• Candidate should have understanding of cloud security
• Basic experience and awareness of tools related to DevSecOps
• Candidate should be great team player with good attitude & communication.

Added bonus if you have:

• Experience of Scaled Agile will be an added advantage
• Fluent in English
• Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion.
• Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements.
• Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
