About the team

SFTC – Security Finance Trading & Collateral team helps our clients to comply with regulations, achieve collateral optimization and handle the volume and complexity of collateral management activities. Our solution offers a single platform for trading directly from a real-time and consolidated global inventory as well as supporting operational requirements for underlying securities lending, repo and derivative transactions. It uses numerical algorithms to automatically allocate collateral in the optimal way, helping firms minimize costs and maximize return on assets.

What you will be doing

· Design and develop new software or make modifications to existing software applications, adhering to industry standards and best practices

· Take part in code reviews, and demonstrate software to all stakeholders

· Share knowledge and provide technical guidance to other team members within areas of expertise

· Grow your skillset in close association with your teammates and other industry specialists from our wider organization

· Engage in constant stack and software modernizations of the product by sharing your ideas and vision

· Participate in our agile, test-driven development process, planning sessions, and work closely with other team members to analyze requirements and provide design recommendations

You will be a part of agile driven multicultural team working on a leading financial platform together with other software developers, business analysts, UX designers and product owners. As Front End Developer, you will be working with the development team and will be involved in all the aspects of software engineering life cycle: coding, reviewing code, reviewing UX design, building tests, architecting, deploying software as well as mentoring.

More specifically, on your job you will:

· Analyze requirements and design solution to ensure that product meets business needs

· Develop proposed solutions in line with platform and company standards

· Review code and share knowledge with other team members

· Take part in presentation sessions to demonstrate new features to stakeholders

· Keep an eye on a wide range of software development best practices, such as code style, code quality and performance requirements.

· Work on various algorithmic calculations which will be used by world’s greatest financial institutions.

What you bring

· Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience

· At least 4+ years commercial development experience building responsive UIs for web applications

· Exceptional knowledge of JavaScript, CSS/SASS and HTML5

· Hands-on experience with Angular and Typescript with know-how in RxJs/Redux

· Worked with UI libraries like Material-UI and Bootstrap

· Competence in the usage of REST-APIs

· Hands-on experience with Testing/Mocking Frameworks

· Experience working in a team across the whole development lifecycle

· In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)

· Experience in working in a distributed and fast-paced environment

· Very strong communication skills and fluent in English

Added bonus if you have
