About the team

The Senior Director of the Global Engineering Delivery Management Office within the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of enterprise technology projects and programs. This role encompasses project and program management, demand and capacity management, and agile solution delivery. The Senior Director will collaborate with various program groups external to the CTO to ensure seamless execution and alignment with organizational goals.

What you will be doing

1. Enterprise Delivery Project & Program Management: - Lead the management of large-scale technology projects and programs, including tech separation and transformation initiatives. - Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting quality standards. - Implement robust project management methodologies and best practices to drive project success. 2. Demand Management & Capacity Management: - Develop and maintain a comprehensive demand management process to prioritize and allocate resources effectively. Partner with the Strategic Operations team within OCTO to successfully execute. - Monitor and manage team capacity to ensure optimal resource utilization and project delivery. - Forecast future resource needs and plan accordingly to meet organizational demands.

3. Agile Solution Delivery Program Management (SDP): - Oversee the implementation of agile methodologies to enhance solution delivery and program management. - Model agile practices partnered with a program management mindset and model for the org

- Ensure continuous improvement in agile processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness in solution delivery.

 4. Collaboration with External Program Groups: - Partner with program groups external to the CTO to align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables. - Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure collaboration and integration across departments. - Act as a liaison between the CTO office and other program groups to ensure cohesive project execution.

5. Leadership and Team Development: - Lead and mentor a team of project and program managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. - Identify opportunities for professional development and growth within the team. - Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and tools to achieve their objectives.

6. Strategic Planning and Execution: - Assist the leadership team in developing and executing strategic plans for the Global Engineering Delivery Management Office. - Track progress and performance against strategic goals, providing regular updates to the VP and other senior leaders. - Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project and program deliver.

7. Operational Management: - Develop and implement processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the Global Engineering Delivery Management Office. - Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement. - Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

8. Other duties as assigned

What you bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in global project and program management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

- Proven track record of managing large-scale technology projects and programs in a matrixed, global environment.

- Strong understanding of demand management, capacity planning, and agile methodologies.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across the organization.

- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

 - High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.

Added bonus if you have:

- Experience in technology transformation programs and tech separation projects. - Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello). - Familiarity with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $145,900.00 - $245,120.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
