About the team

Funds TA is a cutting-edge, real-time fund transfer agency system. It streamlines shareholder
recordkeeping for mutual fund products with an intuitive online interface. Users can effortlessly manage
new accounts, transactions, and shareholder details, while also maintaining essential fund information.


Funds TA is not only about real-time updates; it also supports batch processing, ensuring comprehensive
data management. The system's robust reporting and extract features provide valuable insights, making
it a comprehensive solution for fund transfer and shareholder recordkeeping.


As a Java full stack developer, you will be working with Scrum Master, Product Owner and other scrum
team members through the software development life cycle. You will be designing, coding, unit testing
complex financial applications used in Transfer Agency.


What you will be doing


• Work with POs to understand business requirements.
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
• Integrate software components and third-party programs.
• Verify and deploy programs and systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
• Recommend and execute performance and design improvements.
• Create technical documentation as required.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot,
Angular, and SQL technologies.
• Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and other developers to understand the
requirements and design solutions that meet the business needs and adhere to the FIS TA
standards and best practices.
• Recommend and execute performance and design improvements to enhance the functionality,
reliability, and scalability of the web applications.
• Create technical documentation as required to support the development, testing, deployment,
and maintenance of the web applications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients on the business implications and usage of
various FIS TA systems
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to resolve issues, provide updates, and
deliver plans in a professional and timely manner.


What you bring:


• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST, Angular and SQL.

• Good understanding of Microservices.
• Strong in OOPS concepts, DBMS Concepts, Design / Architecture abilities and troubleshooting
skills.
• Good understanding of how to design scalable, high-performance systems.
• Experience in using Agile / Lean practices and methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive, result driven approach and be able to work with business side stakeholders.
• Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts.
Skills
• Sound technical experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST, Angular and SQL
• Ability to design and implement responsive screens based on the business needs
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent work
experience.
• Experience – 4 to 8 years.
Competencies
• Experience in developing software applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST and SQL.
• Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira, and Git
• Attention to detail
• Desire and ability to work in a multi-distributed team environment
• Ability to excel in high pressure situations
• Strong communication and documentation skills
