What you will be doing:

We are looking for a professional who is passionate about technologies and has strong analytical skills to take on the following challenges in the Prophet team:

  • Engineer and maintain our build / deployment platform, automated deployments and automated test systems running for the development and QA
  • Build and maintain various CI pipelines, supporting projects CD initiatives
  • Administer / Maintain development infrastructure including source control systems, CI / CD servers, CI / CD environments
  • Document implementation in our internal knowledge base platform
  • Continuously explore new technologies / opportunities to improve team development efficiency
  • Architect related infrastructure parts of our Agile software development process, working with Docker, Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform and various AWS services
  • Implementation of the latest industry technologies

What you will need:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience as System engineer, DevOps engineer or Linux Engineer
  • Experience with source control systems (Azure DevOps, GitHub, BitBucket)
  • Experience with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
  • Experience with services on Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure platforms
  • Linux knowledge, preferably server distributions like RHEL and CentOS
  • Practical experience in administering Microsoft Windows Servers
  • Knowledge about container virtualization like Docker or Podman
  • Experience with automation servers (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
  • Some knowledge with provisioning tools
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal and communication skills in English language
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded.
  • Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills working with technical and non-technical individuals.

  • With metric, logging and monitoring tools

  • With network security, load balancers, web servers, DNS, proxies, reverse proxies, firewalls
