Location: Perrysburg, OH, United States

Basic Job Functions:
- Support the administration and execution of First Solar, ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System (QMS).
- Support in Development and maintain procedures and processes in support of the QMS.
- Support FS’s ISO 9001 Internal Audits Program. Provide required training and analysis.
- Support all external (ISO, Customer, and Third Party) QMS audits.
- Maintain FS’s Document Control Center (DCC). Comply with regulatory, contractual, and company policies and procedures for record review and retention.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline or
- 3 years related Quality experience required or
- 3 years of experience as an associate engineer or Quality Technician III at First solar.
- ASQ Certification (CMI, CPT, CQA) preferred.
- ISO 9001 Internal/Lead Auditor certification preferred.
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs.
Required Skills/Competencies:
- Proven Quality Assurance Management knowledge and experience with ISO 9001.
- Proven employee relations skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills and use of statistical methods (Six Sigma tools, SPC).
- Knowledge of internal quality audit procedures.
- Proven knowledge of ISO standards and procedures.
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel – SQL a plus).
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible to implement and monitor Quality Systems, materials and product specifications in accordance with Company Policy and ISO standards.
- Responsible for the maintenance and oversight of Calibration Quality Systems.
- Responsible for the development and the maintenance of incoming inspection work instructions and records per ISO standards.
- Responsible for the training of personnel on Quality System requirements and procedures as required.
- Collaborates with other departments, customer and supplier representatives on quality issues and feedback for manufacturing and engineering for corrective/preventive action.
- Responsible to assist with the inspection and qualification of suppliers' product and ensure incoming material quality meets established criteria.
- Responsible for problem solving of internal quality issues for continuous improvement.
- Participates in the production readiness process of new designs and new equipment.
- Develop and support new gauge methods for improvements to inspection methods and process controls.
- Other duties as assigned.

Reporting Relationships:
This position reports to the Manager - Quality.
This position will not have direct reports.
Travel:
0% - 5% (On occasion/as needed for training, etc.)
Estimated Salary Range:
$62,500.00 - $89,000.00 annually
US Physical Requirements:
- Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to 12 hours per day.
- Will climb stairs or steps on a frequent basis.
- Will lift up to 58 pounds on an occasional basis, according to work instruction.
- Will lift up to 37 pounds on a frequent basis.
- Will push or pull up to 50 pounds of force on an occasional basis.
- Will push or pull up to 37 pounds of force on a frequent basis.
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
- 20/40 vision in each eye separately and both eyes (with or without correction), the ability to distinguish between red, yellow, and green and peripheral vision >70 degrees is required.
- May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
- May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.
- Must comply with all safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including, but not limited to: steel-toed shoes, cut-resistant gloves, jackets, aprons &/or arm guards, safety glasses or goggles, hearing protection & respirators) as a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair).
