• We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our growing software development team, working on an important application that provides Onboarding capabilities.

• The Software Engineer II role is to analyze requirements, develop and test code, and deploy efficient systems in support of the core organizational functions.

• This individual will utilize effective communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate/resolve issues, opportunities, or problems to maximize the benefit of IT and business needs.

• The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to management and business stakeholders.  The ideal candidate will move at a rapid rate of execution while maintaining both the short- and long-term strategic view while collaborating with team members.

Client Onboarding team is a dedicated professionals committed to design, build, and maintain high scale solution to give smoother experience to our new prospective and existing clients. Impact:

This role enables business-critical functions that support the success of First Citizens Bank’s Onboarding program, and it is vital for building and maintaining enterprise onboarding solution to support business objectives. The Client Onboarding team is a group of competent, multi-skilled professionals who have championed the domain as well as the technology since the team’s inception. The application built by the person playing this role helps drive transformation goal for the organization by significantly improving the ways the Client Onboarding handled previously. The role demands expertise in enterprise-scale application development.  Core accountabilities include translating business and technical requirements into actionable assignments, maintaining high standards of engineering excellence. 

Key Deliverables

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Strong 4-7 years of Full stack development experience in Typescript, JavaScript, Node JS (Loopback) and React JS

• Proficiency in front-end development with JavaScript based scripting languages like React JS showcasing a strong foundation in building interactive and dynamic user interfaces.

• Design and implement backend services using Node.js, integrating with databases and other dependent systems.

• Implement and manage databases (any RDBMS), ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.

• Hands-on programming experience in Test Driven Development using Typescript, JavaScript, Node JS (Loopback) and React JS, Git.

• Should know how to develop and execute test cases for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to maintain high-quality code.

• Analyze functional requirements and convert them to technical design and solution to meet business requirements.

• Ensure adherence to project schedule and on-time delivery.

• Working in Agile Framework, participating in various agile ceremonies, co-ordination with scrum master, tech lead, and product owners on sprint planning, backlog creation, refinement, demo, and retrospection.

• Work with global technology teams across different time zones (primarily US) to deliver timely business value.

• Experience managing the software development lifecycle.

• A comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.

• Excellent coding skills and extensive knowledge of agile methodologies.
