About the Team:

• We are part of Corporate Functions catering to all applications used by Corporate Finance team. We closely work with Accounting and Recon, Financial Planning and Analysis, Regulatory Reporting, Procurement, Treasury and Taxation functions of Finance Business.

Impact

• Your focus will be on designing, developing, and maintaining data models that support Treasury operations, investment management, risk management, financial analysis and regulatory compliance.

Key Deliverables

• Creating and maintaining data models for Treasury operations, including cash management, investments, debt, and risk management.

• Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support decision-making.

• Ensuring data quality, accuracy, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

• Working with other teams to integrate Treasury data models with other financial systems.

• Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Utilizing data modeling tools and technologies, such as SQL, ETL processes, and data visualization tools.

• Working with Treasury professionals, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure data models meet their needs.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for treasury management, leveraging relevant technologies and programming languages. 

• Provide technical support for the solutions deployed.

• Interface with other support teams such as network engineers, database administrators to troubleshoot and support.

• Work closely with treasury professionals to understand their needs and requirements. 

• Collaborate with other developers and testers to ensure the quality and reliability of the software. 

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of new ideas. 

• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the software. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner. 

• Continuously improve the performance and scalability of the software. 

Skills and Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science with 11+ years of experience.

• Strong background in building data platforms with demonstrated experience in building large scale data models using data vault or other methodologies.

• Hands-on experience in a technical role leveraging SQL, Python, Java and/or Spark to build, operate and maintain data analytics solutions

• Extensive knowledge of and experience with large-scale database technology (e.g. Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, etc.)

• AWS, Google or Microsoft Cloud certification(s) is a plus.

• Snowflake Snowpro Advanced Certification(s) is a plus.

• Setting up and managing Data Ops across the enterprise is a plus.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in Treasury or Finance is preferred.

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
