AVP, Client Service Engineering - AI Automation

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

The AVP is an execution-focused role, working under the guidance of the VP. The role requires strong leadership, technical acumen, and collaboration skills to drive cross-functional AI initiatives and coordinate with stakeholders across business lines, technology, and support functions.

The AVP will often operate as project lead for specific initiatives or workstreams with stakeholders across Business Lines, Group Technology, DAAI, Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Audit, GCOO and vendors to drive AI automation priorities, intelligent process redesign, and governance. This is an execution-focused role; tangible results in adoption, ROI, scalability, and risk mitigation will be key in defining success.

The mission of GCOO Client Service Engineering is to reimagine FAB’s client service journeys to be client-centric, efficient, and risk-controlled, positioning FAB as a benchmark for service excellence. The AVP plays a key role in enabling the bank’s transformation agenda, ensuring that client service engineering initiatives directly support strategic priorities in customer experience, operational efficiency, and risk management. The AVP will work closely with the VP to translate strategic objectives into actionable service priorities. This role focuses on identifying opportunities to embed AI into existing processes to enhance service excellence, while overseeing the development, implementation, and adoption of AI-driven solutions.
